Comprehensive Pain Rehabilitation Program- Regain Your Life!
Our pain rehabilitation program offers evidence based skills, strategies, and interventions proven to help people decrease pain and increase life satisfaction. Sometimes, a pain condition is caused by an injury that happened on the job. Other pain conditions develop due to a long term illness or condition with a slow onset. We have extensive experience treating and managing complex pain conditions, and see people between 9am-4pm, Monday through Friday, for up to 30 hours a week, providing interdisciplinary treatment all in one place. We are client centered, and take your needs and preferences into account when planning your treatment schedule. Everyone gets an hour each day for a lunch break. We see people experiencing low back pain, CRPS/RSD, migraine headaches, cluster headaches, arthritis, pelvic pain, extremity pain, fibromyalgia, Ehlers-Danlos, and other pain challenges. We work with people between the ages of 16 and 95 to decrease pain and help them live a better a life.
For people who were injured on the job, having a structured intensive multidisciplinary pain (SIMP) program allows people to learn the skills necessary to rebuild endurance, increase strength, and decrease pain. Your program will mimic the hours and tasks that you were expected to do at work, and will provide 30 hours a week of therapeutic interventions. An average length of stay is 4-5 weeks if you are able to attend full time. After attending a full time program, it is common for our clients to enter a phase of our program that is part time, and gives them an opportunity to practice the strategies they learned for managing their pain at home or on the job, while still receiving the support of our clinical staff as they fully reintegrate into these roles.
