Functional Capacity Evaluations
Our expert team creates a customized therapy plan for each patient, and provides one-to-one direct care. Our approach is highly concentrated post-injury which is critical to the patient’s ability to recover or make sustainable functional gains. We utilize objective outcomes to demonstrate patient progress as well as self report outcomes to show patient satisfaction.
Outpatient Program
Our team includes physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech and language pathologists. Together, we work collaboratively to provide seamless therapy solutions for our patients. Our outpatient clinics are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and open gyms, where patients can practice everyday living skills.
Benefits of the Outpatient Program Include:
• Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs) – Comprehensive, functional tests designed to objectively measure the maximum safe functional abilities of patients across a broad range of tasks in an effort to describe worker abilities, and generate recommendations for return to work and activities of daily living. Includes detailed strength, motion, and balance testing, and performance of functional activities, such as: lifting/carrying, walking, push/pull, standing, repetitive squatting, forward bend, overhead reach, sitting, ladder climb, kneel/crawl, hand coordination.
• Work Conditioning Program – A comprehensive program that combines the components of flexibility, core strengthening, cardiovascular endurance, injury specific strengthening, and job-specific task simulation in individualized whole body workouts in order to return the patient to their highest functional level possible.
• Functional Based Evaluations
• Functional Goal Setting and Development of Treatment Plans – includes specific job simulation and exercise
