Texas Hill Country School
Our residential school is located on 43 acres outside the city of San Marcos, Texas.
At Rehab Without Walls, our Texas Hill Country School specializes in working with students who have been unsuccessful in other educational settings. This program accepts children and adolescents, ages 6-22, with acquired brain injuries, developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder, and a host of other neurological and psychological problems.
Our homes and academic classrooms are centrally located to one another, allowing a continuity of services between academics and residential living. Day services are also available for students who need a specialized educational setting but wish to live at home with their families.
Our Integrated Environment Supports Students By:
- Promoting the development of functional academics
- Providing a goal-oriented curriculum
- Supporting the necessary social and life skills needed for success
- Emphasizing the association between classroom learning and everyday life
